So, I think DIET is one of the most important mechanisms to “link in” with when it comes to colon cleansing.
Personally, I believe a healthy balanced diet is the key to successful detoxification and microbiome health. I don't believe in fast fad diets, and I certainly don't believe that there is a “quick fix” for creating an ideal environment for healthy microbes to flourish, for me, it’s all about detoxification first, education, then… pure consistency, and the best part, it’s a lot easier than you think!
First things first, detoxification!
Book a series of colonics, usually 4 in 4 days will have the entire 1.5 to 2 meters of colon cleared out- Slower protocols are effective too, say 1 colonic each week for 4 weeks as an example, however I know professionally, detoxing the body hard & fast has maximum benefits VS dragging the detoxification process out over a span of say 4 weeks, or even 2 weeks.
There’s no point starting this off with a good VS bad microbe imbalance or a colon that’s storing 5 kilos of hardened poo! Let’s clear out the old nasty stuff from the colon, creating a fresh start to really kick start the process… This is a necessity!
This information is based off clients results whilst eating this way for approximately 8 weeks then coming back for a colonic after that time for a follow up appointment to compare the first few colonics to the one after eating this way for the 8 weeks! The results are incredibly powerful & often comes with so many physical symptoms once experienced, completely non existent!
Secondly, education!
This is such a controversial topic, whenever the word DIET is mentioned, everyone comes out from the woodwork with an opinion.
I always tell my clients the same thing;
After a colonic, or series of colonics, you need to scale it back to very simple eating. I’m talking, VERY SIMPLE- protein (lean meats, seafood, chicken), lots of fresh fruit (anything you can get your hands on- keeping in mind, as many different fruits you can consume in a day will help to diversify the microbiome, resulting in a stronger foundation), full fat yoghurt, full fat raw cheeses, full fat raw milk & great quality raw honey. There is a minor exception for vegetables, but very limited to, pumpkin & zucchini only (steamed is ideal).
No sauce on your protein of choice, just salt & pepper, cooked in butter or ghee. The key here is back to very basic eating.
Eating this way does feel very limiting at first, but trust the process! Eating this way, completely eliminates our processed food intake, this has an immediate effect on your digestion and microbiome.
Thirdly, consistency!
This is all up to YOU! Everything worth something requires consistency, you can’t tell me otherwise, so do your best to stay focused & consistent- Your GUT will thank you for it! At Colonics Australia, we are always here to help you with your gut healing journey- Our main goal is to empower you to take back control of your digestion & incredibly intelligent gut microbiome. We want you to be able to “listen to your gut” once again- & feel the vitality that comes from a high functioning, healthy & diverse gut!
